Camille Neddo was born September 12, 1963, in Pocatello, Idaho. She married Douglas R. Johnson on July 31, 1987. They are the parents of three children.

President Johnson graduated from the University of Utah in 1985 with a bachelor’s degree in English, followed by a law degree from the University of Utah S. J. Quinney College of Law in 1989.

She practiced law for nearly 30 years at the Snow, Christensen & Martineau law firm, where she recently served as firm president.


President Camille N. Johnson was sustained as Relief Society General President for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 2, 2022. At the time of her call, she was serving as the Primary General President.

President Johnson has served in numerous Church callings, including Gospel Doctrine and Relief Society teacher, member of a ward Relief Society and Primary presidency, and ward Young Women president. She and her husband served as companion and mission president in the Peru Arequipa Mission from 2016 to 2019.
